MY STORY

​I am a wife, Social Media Expert and a mommy to three boys and a little princess on the way, one of which Braylon has a special gift. Although I have several degrees in Journalism and Internet Marketing there's no greater joy that looking into the eyes of my children. I wrote this book for kids like him to see that there's so many other children like them and they should never feel alone.

Food Allergies & Our Family

 Braylon was the inspiration for this tale. We found out about his allergies when he was 5 months old and soon after a small bite of mashed potatoes that had butter on them he had to be rushed to the Emergency Room. After a visit to his allergist, we were quickly informed that Braylon had several food allergies to: Milk, Eggs, Wheat, Peanuts, Treenuts, Coconut and Shellfish.

Since then my mission has been to spread the word about food allergies and the rising amount of children that are stricken with them. While living in Atlanta, I've found a local group that has been a blessing to my family as a primary resource for Braylon. The Food Allergy Kids of Atlanta hosts several workshops, educational forums and even kiddie events that are food free.
